This one is truly a director’s cut. I made the worldwide launch film for the first ever BMW X7. But I always felt that the
footage we shot could be used to create a completely different kind of film than the official version I made for the client.
So I came up with a new concept, narrative, look & feel and claim. And we completely went back to square one and
edited and designed a whole new film out of the footage we had. I wanted to only work with sound design and create
various emotional and visual layers in a very short format.
This film should serve as an example that by changing your perspective, something completely new can be born out of
something already existing, and that making a film has so many aspects and factors to it that you should try to explore
them all.
