Inspired by various animated films such as "The Lion King" or Avatar, this case study was created to assess the effort and necessity of whether and when CGI animals make sense in advertising. Since such films are normally created in Hollywood with a large number of CG artists, the experience gained in this project is of great value, as Tom worked out and implemented all areas on his own. As things stand today, 3D visualizations of animals only make sense in moving images; in still life, these images are easier to create with photography and, more recently, with AI. Nevertheless, his experience will come in handy for future projects that share the same workflow.
